Fettucine Carbonara

300 g fettucine or other pasta (I used 2 cups)

1 cup frozen peas

1/4 cup spreadable light cream cheese

1/4 cup calorie wise creamy caesar dressing

1 T. flour

1 cup skim milk

1 - 175 g. pkg. ham steak cut into thin strips or cubes

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

3 T. grated parmesan

Cook pasta as directed on package. Add the peas during the last 3 minutes of cooking time.

Meanwhile, beat the cream cheese spread, dressing and flour in a small saucepan with wire whisk until blended.

Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until well blended.

Add the ham and cook on medium low about 5 minutes.

Drain the fettucine mixture and return to the pot.

Add sauce mix and mix together. Heat for a few minutes and serve topped with parsley and parmesan.
